Since I started hunting over 30 years ago, I have always loved dogs as an aid and companion and would take every opportunity to go hunting with friends who had hunting dogs. Through the years, I have also taken part in numerous field tests and have formed important contacts and alliances with the hunting community.

I have dedicated all my spare time to surrounding myself with my fellow hunters who have helped me to learn first hand what it is to be a hunter. I have learned that getting what you want out of a dog is best extracted when you genuinely care about the animal and this work. I continue to take part in dog trials as well as earning titles with them. I hope to broaden my knowledge in the future through further travels beyond Eastern Canada and the U.S.
